Joe Namath has come a long way since since1964. He has become an advertising icon, a legendary quarterback, and now a college graduate. Namath left the University of Alabama to pursue a career in the then AFL, and waited 42 years before obtaining those last few elusive credits at the age of 64. Namath walked across the stage at Coleman Coliseum in Tuscaloosa on December 15 and received his degree, which is a long way from where he was on that fateful Monday Night that will live forever tarnishing his career. It is something that not even a college degree can overcome. Basically this post was a sorry excuse to talk about this moment and play this video as well as giving me a chance to look at some Suzy Kolber pictures. Amazing. Goddess. Knowledgeable. Can you imagine some pillow talk about the strengths and weaknesses of the 3-4 defense?
