It is being reported that Dennis Rodman has been arrested and released on $50,000 bail for allegedly hitting a woman at a hotel in Los Angeles. The funniest part about the entire article is that Rodman still has a marketing team behind him, I guess it’s tough to let go of a guy who kicks people in the crotch and dresses up in drag. He is also supposedly distraught after breaking up with his wife, Michelle Moyer, and being prevented from seeing his children. I looked up some of the people that Rodman has been linked to and was surprised to see Robin Quivers of Howard Stern on the list. I also came upon this stellar piece of British journalism from 2006, it’s an interview with Rodman’s first wife. Anicka Bakes reported that while married to her he did these things:
1. Got her pregnant six times and pressured her to have four abortions.
2. Cheated on her so many times she lost count.
3. Regularly beat her. After one fight, she fell and had a miscarriage
4. Boasted of his fling with Madonna and claimed the singer was desperate to have his child.
Bakes is one person who isn’t surprised to hear of this story, but one of Rodman’s managers was when he said, “I’m kind of waiting for the facts to unfold because it’s really uncharacteristic for him.” I just want to ask this manager, what is characteristic of Rodman? I guess playing basketball with the cast of Little People, Big World.
