Today a hawk attacked a student who was on a tour with her class at Fenway Park. The girl was escorted to a waiting ambulance and a cut to her eyebrow was treated. I have been living in Boston for four years now and I have seen way too many animals interacting and walking amongst a bustling city. The day you see someone feeding a squirrel as it sits on a person’s leg is the day you realize that there needs to be a divide. The hawk and it’s nest were taken away follwoing the incident to be relocated. I can see pigeons and geese hanging around in the city and in parks, but a hawk. I guess this has been going on for years, but hawks are badass and need to kill things. Basically, I think no animals should be within city limits. I step in way too much dog shit on the street and way too much geese shit out on the fields. Yeah, this was a terrible post but check out some of the pictures.
